Terms of Use
By downloading or using Contoura you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
1. What Contoura is – and is not
- Contoura is an entertainment app. It compares the visible shape of your face, hand and foot with looks common in different world regions.
- It is not a DNA test, not a scientific or medical assessment, and it does not determine your ancestry, origin, ethnicity or identity. Results depend on light, angle and the AI model and can be wrong.
- Foot types (Egyptian, Greek, Roman…) are folklore names from ancient art, not scientific categories.
- Do not use results to make decisions about yourself or anyone else.
2. Age and whose photos
- You must be 16 or older to use Contoura and 18 or older to use Face Studio.
- Only scan and edit photos of yourself. Never use someone else's photo, a photo of a minor, or a photo you have no right to use.
3. Face Studio and AI-edited images
- Face Studio changes only the shape of your facial features with AI; skin tone, hair and background stay the same.
- Every saved or shared image carries a visible "AI-edited" mark and AI-source metadata. Do not remove these marks, and do not use edited images to impersonate, deceive, harass or demean anyone.
- Do not use Contoura to create content that mocks or stereotypes any group of people.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to your photos. You allow us and our processors (see the Privacy Policy) to process them solely to produce the results you request. Results are stored only on your device.
5. Subscriptions
- Premium and Pro require an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly) purchased through the App Store. The price and period are shown in the app before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Upgrading from Premium to Pro takes effect immediately; Apple refunds the unused part of the previous plan on a prorated basis.
- Face Studio includes a limited number of AI edits per week, shown in the app.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Restore purchases from the paywall or Settings.
6. Fair use
Do not reverse engineer the app, bypass its limits, overload its services or use it unlawfully. We may limit access in case of abuse.
7. Availability and changes
Contoura is not offered in the European Union or the European Economic Area. We may change features and these terms; we post changes on this page. The service relies on third-party AI providers and may be unavailable at times.
8. Disclaimer and liability
Contoura is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of results. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of their own country.
